Charles E. Adams
Founding Principal and Managing Partner
Charles Adams is a founding principal of Celebration Associates and currently serves as the firm's managing partner with oversight of all of Celebration's projects and relationships.
Previously, Charles served as a Vice President for The Celebration Company and Walt Disney Imagineering and was a key player in the design and development of Celebration, Florida, and Little Lake Bryan near Orlando. He also played an instrumental role in planning residential development at EuroDisney near Paris, France.
Prior to joining The Walt Disney Company in 1990, he worked with Trammell Crow Residential developing luxury apartment communities in and around Orlando, Daytona, and Jacksonville, Florida.
Charles served from 1997 to 2004 as an Independent Director for CNL Hotels and Resorts, a $6 billion public, non-listed real estate investment trust based in Orlando, and also served as a Council Member on the Resort/Recreation Development Council for the Urban Land Institute. He has served on multiple not-for-profit board of directors including the Celebration Foundation, President's Advisory Board for Marriage and Family Matters, Bath Community Hospital, and the Bath County Chamber of Commerce. Currently, Charles serves as a Director for the Virginia Hot Springs Preservation Trust, Baldwin Center for Preservation Development and Mount Washington Resort Foundation.
Charles received a Master of Business Administration from Harvard Graduate School of Business and a Bachelor of Business Administration from University of Louisiana at Monroe. He resides in Hot Springs, Virginia with his wife Lauren, three daughters Morgan, Mimi and Sadie and son Charley.

Don E. Killoren
Don Killoren is a founding principal of Celebration Associates. He currently serves as the co-general manager for Homestead Preserve, President of Virginia Hot Springs Building Company as well as Chairman and Chief Executive Officer of Clear Springs Development Company, LLC.
Previously, Don was Vice President of Community Development for Walt Disney Imagineering and Vice President General Manager for The Celebration Company. In these roles he held overall responsibility for Disney's retail and mixed-used community developments of Celebration, Little Lake Bryan, Crossroads Shopping Center, and Magnolia Creek in Florida. He also assisted in the development of EuroDisney's residential strategy and early development.
In addition, Don spearheaded the property-wide environmental strategy for The Walt Disney Company, culminating in the creation of The Disney Wilderness Preserve.
Prior to joining Disney in 1990, Don served as Executive Vice President and a partner in E. Speer and Associates, a community development firm in Stuart, Florida. He helped develop the ULI award-winning Mariner Sands golf course community. Previously he was President of Lewis-Killoren Properties, a residential building and development company in West Palm Beach, Florida.
Don served as Chairman of the Urban Land Institute Community Development Council, and before moving to Charlotte, North Carolina in 1998, served on the Board of Trustees for the Florida Chapter of The Nature Conservancy.
Don received a Bachelor of Science in Land Development from Georgia State University in 1972. He lives with his wife Ellen in Hot Springs, VA and enjoys frequent visits from their three grown children.
Dane L. Vincent
Dane Vincent is principal of both Celebration Associates and Homestead Preserve. He currently serves as President and Broker-in-Charge for Virginia Hot Springs
Realty and Vice President of Governors Club Development Corporation.
Before joining Celebration Associates, Vincent was a Partner with Tatum CFO Partners, LLP, and possesses over 27 years of experience working with both public and private companies.
Prior to his service with Tatum CFO Partners, Vincent served as Vice President and Chief Financial Officer for Texfi Industries, Inc., a publicly traded textile and apparel manufacturer with revenues exceeding $300 million, where he helped raise in excess of $200 million in capital through numerous stock, bond, and bank offerings.
Early in his career, Dane worked in public accounting in the Raleigh, North Carolina, and Richmond, Virginia, offices of Ernst & Young, providing
audit, tax, and computer audit services to manufacturing, banking, real estate, software, and non-profit clients.
Dane holds a B.A. in Accounting from North Carolina State University. He is a licensed real estate broker in Virginia, as well as in North Carolina and South Carolina, and is a member of the American Institute of CPAs and the North Carolina Association of CPAs. He lives in Hot Springs, Virginia with his wife Lou Ann and three children, Laura, Beth, and Christopher.
Development Associate & Director of Technology
Amy Westwood is responsible for the planning, implementation and oversight of technology components for Celebration Associates' community development initiatives. In addition to leading these efforts for Celebration Associates' projects, Amy provides technology advisory services to select community developers throughout the Southeast.
Most notably, Amy spent 16 years with The Walt Disney Company. While at Disney, Amy led the technology efforts in Celebration, hailed as the "Most Advanced Community in the Country" by The Guinness Book of World Records, 2000. Her responsibilities included the development and coordination of technology alliances, the integration of technology components within the residential, commercial, education and health aspects of Celebration, project management of The Celebration Network deployment, and management of cable television activities including local, state and national regulatory and franchise issues.
The Celebration Community Network is today considered a "best of class" example of a community network and has been featured on ABC World News Tonight, Time Digital, Brave New Worlds: The Future of Learning, and CNN. The Celebration Network was awarded the ComputerWorld Smithsonian Institute Award for innovative use of technology in 1998.
As part of her tenure with Disney, Amy spent 10 years with Vista-United Telecommunications, the telecommunications division of the Walt Disney Company and local exchange company (LEC) for the Walt Disney World Resort properties in Florida, including Celebration.
Amy is a native Floridian and was born and raised in Ormond Beach, Florida. She received her Bachelor's Degree in Business Administration from The Florida State University, Tallahassee, Florida. Continuing education includes coursework at Northwestern University Kellogg Executive Programs, The Conference Board Strategic Alliance Programs, Powell-Tate Media Training and Development, and USTec Certification Training for Residential Structured Wiring. She is married to Tom and they have two daughters.
Development Associate & Director of Sustainability
Casey Williams is responsible for marrying conscientious environmental policies with good design and construction practices on all of Celebration Associates' projects and serves and the Sustainability Director and Guild Manager for Bundoran Farm.
In her role, Casey works with individual residents, design professionals and builders to incorporate appropriate sustainable practices. Casey has significant experience in working with diverse groups focused on environmental issues including serving as the Manager of the Save Our Streams program for the Izaak Walton League where she led conservation programs on water quality monitoring and stream and wetland restoration.
Ms. Williams holds degrees in Environmental Science and in Urban and Environmental Planning, both from the University of Virginia. Casey lives in Charlottesville, Virginia.
Chief Financial Officer
Buddy Kling joined Celebration Associates and its affiliates in 2005. In addition to his duties as Celebration's CFO, he oversees financial responsibilities for Virginia Hot Springs Realty and Virginia Hot Springs Building Company. He was born in Roanoke, VA, but moved to Bath County in 1987 with his wife Bonnie. Together they raised a son Josh, who is now 1st Lieutenant in the United States Marine Corp. and a daughter Karen, who is a banker in Jacksonville, FL.
Buddy graduated from the College of William and Mary with a degree in business and is also a licensed CPA. He brings with him an extensive background in accounting and finance. His work experience includes two years at Arthur Andersen & Company in Charlotte, NC and ten years at Webster Brick Company, Inc. in Roanoke, VA where he was vice president of finance. He then spent five years as the legal administrator for Woods, Rogers and Hazlegrove, attorneys in Roanoke, before becoming vice president of finance for The Bacova Guild LTD for twelve years.

Erik supports the Mount Washington Resort development team as Project Planner. His primary responsibilities include coordination of the planning and design process for the land development efforts of the Mount Washington Resort Project. Prior to his current role at the Mount Washington Resort, Erik served as a land planning consultant for much of the preliminary residential master planning for the Project. His previous consulting experience with Celebration Associates, LLC dates back to 2003, where he was actively involved with the Homestead Preserve in Hot Springs, VA from project inception through construction.
Prior to joining the Celebration Associates team in June 2007, Erik was a Project Manager and Project Landscape Architect with Design Workshop, Inc. in Asheville, North Carolina and in Denver, Colorado. Erik's professional experience with Design Workshop included land planning, landscape architectural, and construction services on a wide range of national and international projects. These projects encompassed regional planning, residential community planning, parks and open space design, urban design, resort and tourism planning and design, golf course design, and high-end residential design. Preceding his career in land planning and landscape architecture, Erik proudly served in the U.S. Coast Guard from 1992 to 1999.
Erik earned his BSLA from Colorado State University in 2003 and graduated with the American Society of Landscape Architects (ASLA) Honor Award for Academic Achievement. Erik, together with his wife Kelly, and two-children, Kaitlyn and Evan, live in Franconia, NH.
Greg Jones serves as the Land Planner for Homestead Preserve in Bath County Virginia. His primary responsibilities include securing land entitlements, community planning & design.
Prior to joining Celebration Associates in 2005, Greg served as a Project manager for LandDesign, Inc and ColeJenest & Stone, Inc. both in Charlotte, NC. During that time he worked on a variety of projects types and scales including; large scale residential communities, mixed use urban developments, golf course communities, office parks, and mixed use retail centers.
Greg holds a bachelor of Landscape Architecture from Michigan State University, and a Master of Landscape Architecture from the University of Minnesota. He is a registered Landscape Architect, a member of the American Society of Landscape Architects & the Urban Land Institute.
Director of Development, Homestead Preserve
Jason Hoyle serves as the Director of Development for the Homestead Preserve in Hot Springs, Virginia. His responsibilities include managing the day-to-day progression of infrastructure installation, coordinating facility expansion and upgrades with local public utilities and overseeing independent projects associated with the community. Jason previously worked for Blythe Development Company in Charlotte, North Carolina where he supervised multiple projects ranging from new road construction, commercial and residential projects and utility expansion for local utility companies.
Jason graduated from the University of North Carolina at Charlotte with a BS in Civil Engineering in 1996. Jason and his wife Cheryl and daughter Emily reside in Roanoke, Virginia.
Human Resources Manager
Trish Foutz is the Human Resources Manager for Celebration Associates. She is a lifelong resident of Bath County. Trish joined the Homestead Preserve team in 2002 as an office assistant. She became the Human Resources Manager in September 2007. Prior to joining the company, she was the Human Resources Manager for Burlington Industries in their Low Moor, Virginia plant where she was employed for over 20 years. Trish oversees the hiring process as well as benefits administration for all Celebration Associates employees. She and her husband Len reside in Warm Springs. The couple has 4 grown children.
Mike Hahaj is a licensed C.P.A. and the Regional Controller for Celebration Associates having joined the company in 2002. Mike currently lives in Hot Springs, Virginia the location of the Homestead Preserve with wife Charity and twin sons Benjamin Michael and Samuel Andrew.
Having served as Controller for Homestead Preserve since its inception, Mike is also the controller for Bundoran Farm and has assisted with the Bretton Woods project. His responsibilities include the financial and accounting management of multiple development companies, a residential and commercial construction company and a real estate general brokerage. Before moving to Hot Springs, Mike lived in Raleigh, North Carolina serving as the Controller for Governors Club Development Corporation from 2002-2004.
Mike graduated from Arkansas State University with a Bachelor's of Science in Accounting, is member of the American Institute of Certified Public Accountants and the Virginia Society of Certified Public Accountants. Additionally, Mike serves as a Director and the Treasurer of the Bath County Airport Authority.
Robert C. Mitchell
Partner & Principal
Rob Mitchell supports the day-to-day management of Celebration Associates' efforts with Clear Springs Development Company in Fort Mill, SC, as well as any potential new community development projects in North Carolina, South Carolina and Georgia. Previously, Rob served as President and CEO of Linger Longer Communities where he was responsible for Reynolds Plantation, Reynolds Landing, and Achasta. He led every aspect of community development and management within these communities including planning, development, marketing, sales, operations, finance, and human resources.
Rob served in the United States Navy, attaining the rank of Lieutenant and holding responsibility for multiple golf courses, gymnasiums, bowling centers, and staff support programs. Also while in the Navy, Rob was the national sprint kayak champion and he competed on the United States Olympic Kayaking Team in the 1972 Munich Olympics. Following the Navy, Rob joined the Walt Disney Company. Over a twenty-year period, Rob held an array of executive positions with the Disney organization in areas that included design and engineering, project development, and facilities and resort management. Rob left the Disney organization in 1996 to become Chief Operating Officer for the Kessler Collection of Hotels in Florida where he was responsible for the operation of a chain of upscale boutique hotels. In 1999, Rob became a partner with Celebration Associates and was representing their organization at Reynolds Plantation when he accepted his position with the Reynolds organization.
Rob holds a Bachelor of Science Degree in Industrial Engineering from Georgia Tech, a Masters of Science Degree in Management from Rollins College, and is a graduate of the Harvard Business School Program for Management Development. Rob is a member of the Urban Land Institute and also was President of the Reynolds Foundation, a non-profit organization that provides financial support to assist local charitable organizations as well as need-based college scholarships for local high school graduates. Rob is a member of the Advisory Board of Georgia College and State University and serves as a mentor for students of this University. Rob and his wife Karen have three children and are active in their church and community, and Karen is the Teaching Director for the area Community Bible Study which has over 150 active members.
