Homestead Preserve

Homestead Preserve is a unique, conservation-based resort community situated on 11,500 acres around the villages of Hot Springs and Warm Springs in Bath County, Virginia. The development is limited to 450 homes, each of which will be built in historic architectural languages native to the Alleghany Highlands of Virginia on homesites ranging from ½ to 13 acres in size. Families are building their own homesteads carefully crafted to blend with the heritage of Bath County and the natural surroundings of the region. The community, located near the famous Homestead Resort, borders both the George Washington National Forest and the Warm Springs Mountain Preserve owned by The Nature Conservancy.

For over two centuries, The Homestead has enjoyed the distinction of being one of America's premier mountain resorts. Those centuries are filled with the legends and lore of presidents and princes, war and peace, romance and laughter. Through it all, The Homestead has provided an oasis of relaxation and rejuvenation, a haven for the sportsmen, and outdoor enthusiast. Now Homestead Preserve offers an opportunity for the pure enjoyment of a magnificent mountain home.
